Gorgie Church (190-192 Gorgie Road) offers for hire one small room, ideal for meetings, two Church Halls, and its Sanctuary.
It also offers a large fully equipped commercial kitchen which can be hired out for functions.
The premises are fully accessible via a ramp.
Please note that there is a strict ‘no alcohol’ policy in operation in the building.
Hire charges are calculated per the hour
Small Hall. Up to 40 people seating £25/h
Large Hall. Up to 150 people seating. £30/h
Sanctuary. Up to 150 people seating £50/h
Kitchen. £15/h
Small Hall
A bright rectangular space of 8.5m long x 7 m wide.
Large Hall
A spacious space of 30m long and 8 m wide.
There is a wall mounted screen for projection.
Sanctuary
This is where worship takes place.
A bright and flexible space, with a mixture of tables and chairs facing the stage.
The AV equipment in the Sactuary is not for hire.
Kitchen
Gorgie’s kitchen was recently refurbished as a commercial kitchen. Equipment includes Range Cooker, commercial microwave, Dry Bain Marie, Dishwasher, Water Boiler and large working or preparation surfaces.
One of the regular users is Bethany Christian Trust, which cooks every day a large number of hot meals that are then distributed to homeless people in the city.
